The Chippiparai Collective is a dedicated group of enthusiasts passionate about preserving and promoting the unique and landrace breed of Chippiparai dogs. The Chippiparai is a striking example of the "function before form" principle. Originally bred for hunting, the Chippiparai's physical attributes and temperament were carefully developed to optimize their performance in the field. While the Chippiparai's appearance is undeniably striking, it is ultimately a byproduct of its functional adaptations. Their unique physical characteristics and temperament were shaped by centuries of selective breeding to ensure their success as hunting dogs. Our objective is to produce triple function dogs, those that are beautiful to look at and win shows, excel in the field and make wonderful companions at home.
